# Third-party binaries used by Navis builds

## libmpv for Linux (x86_64), LGPL build

Built for Navis by Porthorion from the upstream sources in this folder. Each build verifies the SHA-256 below before using the archive.

- File: `libmpv-linux-x86_64-lgpl-20261007.tar.gz`
- SHA-256: `759bb6586b4d772bb78a565609dcccc5205741c8b1163c1d47ed3493bf227f6e`
- Contents: `libmpv.so.2` (RUNPATH `$ORIGIN`), `include/mpv/*.h`,
`BUILDINFO.txt` (versions and dynamic dependencies), and the `Dockerfile` and
`build.sh` that produced it (Ubuntu 22.04 base, so glibc 2.35 or newer).
- Versions: mpv commit `eb0ee1031590b3f369a5b783e8aa91eeaaded7e6` (configured
with `-Dgpl=false`, audio outputs PulseAudio and ALSA only), FFmpeg commit
  `151814650` (no `--enable-gpl`, no `--enable-nonfree`), libass 0.17.5,
libplacebo v7.360.1. FFmpeg, libass and libplacebo are linked statically.
- Dynamic dependencies (system libraries): libstdc++, libm, libc, fontconfig,
HarfBuzz, FriBidi, FreeType, zlib, GnuTLS, ALSA, PulseAudio.
- Licence: GNU LGPL version 2.1 or later (mpv, FFmpeg, libplacebo); libass is
ISC. No GPL-only component is included (the build fails if FFmpeg reports
  `--enable-gpl`).
- Corresponding source, in this folder:
  - `ffmpeg-151814650.tar.gz` (SHA-256 `b2434397ae2b5f0bbc7f6a6072a31c610e4bd3b5f9d5e91b569615d3b49c46e7`)
  - `mpv-eb0ee1031590b3f369a5b783e8aa91eeaaded7e6.tar.gz` (SHA-256 `0fd93908f9c564cfe94e3f01adb7a4e0db1bef30a5475ce8a1e79af799670211`)
  - `libass-0.17.5.tar.xz` (SHA-256 `2dca25c0e0c837ddf00b52011b3f82cac1e4ddd3ad018227806b0c2288864acc`)
  - `libplacebo-v7.360.1.tar.gz`, with its git submodules (SHA-256 `a25ca04a1f76c60c86106fb365a3ae38db17291f69f63b90ebd966fba1b977b1`)
  To rebuild: `docker build -t navis-libmpv-lgpl .` then
  `docker run --rm -v "$PWD/out:/out" navis-libmpv-lgpl` in the extracted
archive. To relink Navis with a modified libmpv, replace `lib/libmpv.so.2`
  in the Navis bundle.
- Used by: `linux/CMakeLists.txt` in Navis, which installs `libmpv.so.2` into
  the bundle's `lib/` folder.
